2006 Mustang Gt spark plug replacement - Ford Mustang Forums
Im thinking about going with these 1 piece Champion 7989's
They are $105.00 for a set of eight .....
Can anyone verify if these are good plugs????

Ive talked to a couple of mechanics around here and they have all said that Autolites are a def no go. They have put them in and mustangs are always brought back to re-do. They did mention the plugs you spoke of but also said they were having great luck with Motorcraft plugs as a replacement for the stock mustang plugs.......

I have been running the #7989 Champion plugs for nearly 50,000 miles with great success, car runs great.
The Motorcraft and the Autolite plugs are exactly the same plugs, both 2 piece plugs and therefore subject to breaking on removal. Choose wisely.
