Yes there have been so many posts going back and forth between the two. I have read many threads that totally favor POR-15 and others that completely bash it and say rust encapsulator is king. Well after the debates and all, in terms of price, ease of use, quality, and especially integrity of the product doing what it is supposed to do, which do you all prefer? If you view them as equal then please say why.

Come on now, it isn't that hard to vote nor chime in about the products. Trying to get a thread together that at least combines the two without being one-sided or just not mentioning the other prduct........

ttt.........

I've used both, and just got done a '62 T-Bird using both. Use POR 15 on the underside, and Rust Encapsulator on sheetmetal which is to be painted. It scuffs easier for primer and topcoats. POR 15 is tough as nails, but is a pain to get flat and level for a sheetmetal surface.

Both are excellent products if you take a little time to prep the surfaces.
