Help. Anyone! I just rebuilt (poorly I guess) the Autolite 2100 carb on my '70 302. Now the is so much gas pouring into the carb that it runs all over the engine and it wont start. Where do I start to look?

I not good on autolites, but it sounds like either a float or needle and seat. Look at the inst. again and focus on those parts. Maybe an Autolite carb guru will help.

Any autolite gurus out there?

Went all over assembly and settings again. Still dumping loads of gas everywhere. Does the engine depend on resistance from the fuel filter?
