So, @JoeDaddy gave me this idea. He's got some pretty sweet toys that I'll let him talk about.

Absolutely and currently my #1 dream tech toy:

Welcome to the best, most accessible desktop 3D printer designed uniquely to print beautiful carbon black parts. Start with the Onyx One and create parts for a wide variety of applications using our acclaimed Onyx chopped carbon fiber filament. Step up to the Onyx Pro for the impressive strength of adding continuous fiberglass for strong composite parts.

Fiber reinforced carbon filament in this machine. Strong enough to make usable parts for ANY R/C vehicle and rigid, functional parts for just about anything else I could dream up. $7K for this machine.

Other down-side is that feeding this thing is roughly $180 per kilogram.

I could make a complete R/C quad body in any size

Noobz, I didn't forget about you! I've got my kids this week, so between work and kids, anything extra simply does not get done. It will be a struggle to fit in mowing the lawn.

But.......

Here is the newest toy at my disposal.

Here's more info on the machine I used to make the mustang silhouette signs. It's just a simple rotary engraver. I was using it today to make some new badges for a customer that is restoring an old camper, and I'll kind of run thru the process.

Here is what they need new of. It doesn't have to match exactly, and they want it on a white board with silver lettering.

Found a font that was close, saved a file, ans headed to the engraver.

(Please excuse the messy-ness)

Here's a super short video of it working. Turn your volume down, or off!

Now I have the blanks cut, and the silver letting ready to be applied.... finished product coming soon.

I would need time in order to enjoy some new high tech toys.

Built myself a little Folgertech 3D printer, but having some issues with the extruder. Still need to build my DJI F550 drone. I almost rather buy a new Phantom and call it a day.
