Power Seat Questions

I need some help on power seats, hoping someone can help me out. My wife works for a race shop and I purchased some of the Boss 302 Recaros for my 1970 Torino project. Two days after installing them, they frantically called asking to buy them back. They have offered a set of powered left and right seats from a standard 2015 GT, but until I can be sure they will work in my car I'm not taking it apart.

I'd really like to see a schematic on the wiring, as just randomly hooking up power to the pins under the seat will likely result in an airbag going off before I find the right pins. Also, since we are in the era of multiplexing and ECM control of everything, do the controls directly engage the motors, or do they run through a computer first. I ask because as a diesel mechanic, it seems more and more that everything there runs through a cab controller.

I'm willing to work with these folks to a point, but since I sacrificed my original seat tracks to install these seats, I need to know I can have a driveable car at the end of this.

I am tempted to attempt hooking power to the plug on the condition if something goes, its on them. There are several pins on the plug, but only two that look like they would handle the amp load of the motors. I told them to hit up Ford for the info (they should be able to get it, its a Ford shop) but I hate sitting on a problem with my thumb in a precarious position, so I figured I'd be proactive.

As for the car, its a work in progress. My dad bought it in 73, stored it "short term" in 86. I finally pried it out of the garage this January. The body is rough due to him really not knowing how to drive..., but its only got 44k miles. Been having a blast driving it, fixing things as I go. The seats werent even on my radar, as the car was driveable as it was. But the wife called, said they had mustang seats for $100. My only requirement was they be non power. imagine my surprise when the recaros showed up. I figured what the hell, these arent falling apart (yellow foam crumbs hurt the eyes like nothing I've ever felt, and its a convertible) and they dont smell faintly of cat pee (another long term storage side effect).

Appreciate your input. As of right now I'm still waiting for these folks to let me know they've found the wiring schematic. I havent heard from them since Monday afternoon. Considering the mess they implied they were in, you'd think they'd have a little more hop in their step.

Wanted to say thanks, but the problem is non-existant at this point. The company I was dealing with has recieved the Recaro seats back, in exchange for a set of Focus seats that might work in my car and a used set of LAguna Seca wheels from the same car the seats came out of. I'll sell the wheels to recoup cost of lost time and labor through this debacle.
