my girls 95 gt has a bad driver side seat motor, I am looking at a complete frame /track with the motor and switch and need to know if bolth sides are the same- can I use a passenger side seat track on the driver side ?
dammit! i knew this would come up. i was 2 seconds away from taking off my old seat motors and what not and selling them. damn man, i already junked them.
The tracks are side specific. You can get a power track complete for about $100 from MPS.. I had to get one because my track/frame was broke.. Keeping the old one for parts. (you know, like the motors..) lol
Nobody carries just the seat motor ? Damm ..... maypo59 can you spare a seat motor ? And what site is mps ? And does this look like a driver or passenger side seat track ?
I have bought a lot of stuff from them over the years.. good service and good parts. You probably could buy the just the motor from ford, but it would cost a lot I would bet. I know a NEW power track is over $200. I use MPS for used parts 'cause the few wrecking yards around here are crap, and usually don't have any 'stangs anyways.
