After popping my hood today to tinker w/my car, I noticed my power steering fluid cap was open. I was just wondering if a problem could arrise because I drove w/it open for a little while. Thanks

Don't worry about it, probably not twisted on right, then hit a bump and top came off. If you are worried do what hissin said

a good flushing couldnt hurt anyway. this is a good excuse to do it, maintenance is your best insurance.

I don't think it was open for long and it's not dusty around here.

defiantly doesn't hurt to flush ford PS ever so often. the most common reason for what you are describing is turning the steering wheel even slightly with the car off, it will pop the cap and often spray fluid.
