Looks like I’ll be replacing a power steering pump on the new project when it gets here, but along with that I figured I would replace the hoses as well.

I’ve been able to find the main high pressure hose a few places, but for the others do I need a specific part number because I cannot locate them?

Also, I’ve considered some of the braided AN line kits, has anyone tried anything like that with success?

I thought this might help in some of the "what's wrong with my car" threads where they give you no information to go from. Feel free to use it. It's fairly accurate.

Next, judging by your username, are you asking for a Foxbody? Or do you have a Mustang II that we're unaware of?

The best answer I can give is to search the usual places - Rock Auto, parts stores like O'Reilly's, Mustang parts suppliers, etc. If all else fails, there are hydraulic hose shops that can make them to your specifications.

As far as AN lines, I've used them for my fuel system and I'm sure others have used them, with the proper hoses and adapters if needed, for hydraulic systems like power steering.

Sorry guys. The question was originally for a ‘91 LX 2.3 I was considering for a project car. I had no idea my signature from like 15 years ago was still here.

Since then I found a cheaper local deal on a 5.0. But it too has the usual power steering wine and I’ll probably end up rebuilding and re-plumbing this one. So thanks for the info on the AN. I’ll do some more digging.
