i dont have a problem with emissions, they dont really check in my area
im not sure really how to pass it, or what they check, but if you want to try and fool them you could hollow out some cats, or put the heatshields of the cats on the pipe so it looks like they are there
or leave your stock pipe on when they check it, then change it when they are done?
i dont know it could work

I do, but it's a PITA. I think I am going to weld on some fake cat shields on mine so I don't have to mess with it every year.

I have the 2yr inspection on my car so I guess I will switch it out when the time comes. Not really that big of a deal. they don't do a visual inspection but they do the smog test, i don't know how it'd ever pass with it on. It's better than paying this guy I know a hundred and some dollars to take it through for me and pass.

Emissions here in VA are every 2 years. So in 2 years I will have to switch it out with the stock one. I really want to drive around with the stock one for some odd reason.

Theres a diffrence between inspections and emissions, just putting on fake cats wont help you pass an emission test.

We just have inspections here in Maine, no emission tests.

It does suck paying someone 100 bucks or so to get the inspection sticker but it is such a pain in the ass to remove the X Pipe and put in the stock one on that I think it's worth it. It saves my time and aggravation if anything. Plus I chopped my stock one in half because it wouldn't come off.
