Predator custom tune and dead battery

Had dead battery and replaced it.........do I need to run the tune program again or did the cars computer still keep it even without a battery?

The tune should still be on there even if the battery has been removed.

You can plug the Diablo in, and check the tune that is in your car now to be sure, but I am 99% sure that the custom tune is still in there.

Yep, it should still be there.
However, you may notice that the engine's idle is erratic. This is normal after a battery replacement, and it should disappear after 20-30 miles of driving.
Also, there's a procedure in the battery maintenance section of the owner's manual that facilitates the PCM's re-learning the idle strategy.

yes had an erractic idle this am so will check that out too...thanks for the tip
