Maybe you can help me out then.

My Saleen has DFI and the fox cars I have had did not have driveability problems with bolt on's like mild cams superchargers, exhaust etc. I just got a driver 95 and it has exhaust . It will die and surge and the idle will hunt at times ( But you never know when it will do this) and does not run good cold.

I understand that at WOT the fox computers use RPM for advance, where the SN 95's use Load ALL the time.

In the June 2006 5.0 Magazine they talk about a guy who has a 95 with AFR 165'S, Ported trick flow intake, 24lb inj,Pro-M meter, and Exhaust. He had Severe knocking and surging idle, He put on the Pro M harness and a A9L computer and the driveability problems went away and the car ran strong.

Since I have a A9L I thought this would be a good way to go. So what do guys with 94-95's do then to fix their problems? I don't really want to do a chip. If I chage things later I would have to get it reburned every time.

Scroll down the Pro-M Harness your talking about is listed.

Pro-m went out of business yes but started up by a new name by ex-employees.

I think the best bet would be a tweecerR/T or a PMS if you dont want to deal with going to a dyno place to have a chip done/re-done when you change something.

The biggest issue I have with the swap is...

swaping to another factory eec still means you spend money to STILL have a factory eec. That factory eec will still limit you by its factory tune/calibrations. The whole point to messin' with the eec is to get it to match your combo (like the parts you buy do for the engine itself).
