...well, not a problem for me. I am back in Iraq now and since I don't have a house right now the 'stang is staying at my parents. I got an e-mail from my mom the other day complaining how I am going to cost her a lot of money. She drove my car and loves it so much my parents are now looking for thier own 'stang! I think they are wanting a 'vert though. They are even looking for a GT, probably an auto. Funny thing is my car gets better gas milage than both thier dd's so I think that helped a little.

I am torn about what to do. if i teach her then she will want/be abel to take it whenever she wants. and we can't have that now can we. she shares the car she can share the paymenst i guess.

Thanks for your service and keeping people like me safe.

My Dad seemed to be in a similar boat to yours since driving mine. He owned a 69 Mach 1 and it brought back some memories.

I will teach people on my car. I learned to drive stick on my car (well, I had learned before, but had only driven about 5 other times and never for more than about 15-20 minutes), so I figure what the hell - damage is already done. Besides... the sooner the clutch wears out, the sooner I have a reason to get a better one with a flywheel.

I tried to teach the wife how to drive it while I was home and she didn't do too bad, but she still won't take it out by herself. She doesn't mind the mustang but says she has "outgrown fast cars". I think it's because she doesn't like the manual, if I had her camaro running good she would change her mind on that!
