PROBLEM!!

I just bought a set of used gt 40p's and noticed when i got home that one of the valve cover threads got stripped and i looked like someone tryed drilling it out and tool too much out, there is a small chunk missing out of the top of it, can this be fixxed

You could probably drill and tap it larger, or toss a quick weld there, so it can be redrilled and tapped to the original size. You may be able to put a helicoil in it as it is now, but you'd have to see what size the hole is currently.

yeah i pic would help out, also long as they didn't drill it out to much a helicoil should do it

Drill it and helicoil it.... Or take it to a machine shop and have it done right...

took them back and got my money, there was stripped exhuast threads too..they were garbage
