question about resurfacing a flywheel.

Can it be resurfaced more than once?

my cltuch as been change once and the flywheel was resurfaced.

Now i need a clutch,can i do the resurfacing job again on the same flywheel?

yep, since when they(meaning a reputable shop) resurfaces it, they (should)also do the surface that the pressure plate mounts on, so it doesn't change and disk to flywheel/pressure plate tolerances...you're fine

A Blanchard grinder can accomplish this.

I know you can do the flywheel on a blanchard, but what about the pressure plate? Does the part that needs to be resurfaced come off because I know you couldn't do the pressure plate if it didn't. Been quite awhile since i messed with clutch and pressure plate just havin trouble picturing pressure plate surface as to wheather it comes off or not.

yes you can have the flywheel resurfaced again. in most cases not much metal is machined from the flywheel to make it true and clean.

I've ran a Blanchard quite a few times probably wouldn't need to take off more than .005"
