Question from the newest StangNet member about a chip

With either you get basically the same.
Say you go with a chip...
T&J can adjust timing, a/f, gear swaps, ect... with a dyno tune and burn all of those onto the stock chip or aftermarket chip.
With the tuner, you can adjust everything just the same I think. You still have to plug it into the stock comp, adjust everything on the pop up screens on your tuner, then go at it.
Pros for the tuner..
You dont have to keep paying for chip reburns after you do mods on your car. You just plug it in and adjust.
Cons for tuner...
You cant put multiple programs on it like you can a chip to my knowledge. With a chip, its a little extra $$$ but you can have multiple programs burned and some even come with a flip switch you can mount to switch programs. This can be handy if you have to take you car in for something, flip the switch and BOOM... instant stock settings with rev limiter in place ect... Get back in the car, flip the switch, BOOM... instant advanced timing, a/f adjustments and so on. Its up to you really. I went with a Diablo chip myself and I am happpy as can be with it

T&J reflashes your computer, they don't use chips. Also the software that they use has waaaaaaaaaay more capabilities than any handheld tuner( hypertech, superchips)
