i have a ? about the tail light lenses on foxes. i have a 93 hatch gt that i purchased some covers for(i like the blacked out look of things). when i dry fitted them the lens cover was too small to cover the tail loghts. I heard a rumor that lx lenses are a different sizes than the gt lenses. is that true? is there a set ot covers that will fit my gt lenses? i need something to black them out to match the paint when i get it painted. please help

They're all the same and tail light blackouts will get you stopped by the cops on a regular basis.

you spose that the covers were made too small? where i live here in nevada they are everywhere. whether they are illegal or not i do not know but man are they everywhere here. i just dont want a nice flat black paint job ruined by two red tail light lenses that can easily be covered up with a lil tint and still be redish when the lights are on. feel me?

The GT tails might look kinda cool with flat black paint, or you could try to spray some VHT Nighshades on the red part on the lenses, plus the Nightshade tint is a flat black.

Yes they are illegal.

They are also kinda "out of style" now too. Everyone just runs tinted lenses instead. I haven't seen blackout covers on a car in literally 3-4 years. It was kinda a late 90's thing

I guess the GT tails are slightly thicker because of the louvers.

I didnt want to say it but they're a little ''1998'', I still think making some tinted chesse graters might look cool, I almost want to try it myself.
