question on nitrous?????

ok i just bought the zex dry kit and my tech guy said to be sure i have a blow down tube can anyone show me what this is im completely new to nitrous and i wana make sure i dont get stoped at tech for somthing simple

a blow down tube is just something a track wants you to have and a safety thing. you do not need one

See the big braided hose running from my bottle? That is the blow off tube.

NOS and others sell on that is all aluminum like this for around $20. from Jegs or Summit.

Bad advice. I would definitely use one. A few years ago I was racing at an NMRA race and we were sitting around in the pits when the bottle let loose. If it wouldn't have been for that blow down tube there would have been trouble in the car. My advice is to just buy one and install it the way the rules state and you will be fine.
