I've got a 1987 mustang hatchback, and the person who owned it before me lost the keys. I've got a couple questions about the best route to go about doing this.
So, the ignition has been messed with and it can simply be turned over with no key inside, is there anyway to fix this? Also, the keys for the doors and hatch, do they match the ignition? even with a rigged ignition i need a key to close the hatch and all. Any help is appreciated

You're lucky that the ignition switch turns. You have to turn it to the accessory position to push the pin in the bottom to remove it. Ignition and door locks don't match....unless you have a cop car.

Used to be able to purchase police car key sets with one key. Gone are those days
