questions about cylinder head rebuild

Had the heads off my 351w rebuilt. When I got them back all the valves were mixed up in a box? I thought they had to go back where came correct? They put new valve guides on the exhaust but said the intakes didn't need anything which struck me as a little odd.

I gather it doesn't matter, because valve seats should have been re cut anyway.

Thanks Kurt yeah they re cut the valve seats so I see your point now. Appreciate it man

I would lap the valves in just to make sure you are getting a good seal.

Thanks man just read up on how to lap valves after reading your post. Looks easy I definetely lap them to be sure everythings as good as I can get.
