I bought replacement door strikers recently from LRS. I started to remove the passenger side striker but stopped as I got the impression that there may be a nut inside the body that the striker bolt threads through. I don't have any of the interior trim removed and figured I would ask real quick. I was told by a friend I could just take the old one off and bolt in the new one, but the replacement strikers has a thin disk that came with it that I think needs to go on the inside that the bolt will thread into. Anyone know for sure?
I'm going to be rehabbing the quarter windows on my vert in a month or so and will wait if need be. Just don't want to pull the striker off and then find out I can't attach the new one without pulling the interior apart lol.
