quick help with intake gasket

I'm going to replace my intake gasket tomorrow and don't want to use the 1250, whats an alternative"? I helped my buddy put a gasket on his 5.0 and he used one that seemed pretty heavy duty and was metal reinforced and such. My 1250 split and I want to try something else.....alternative?

This is for aftermarket heads also

I have seen some guys use the Mr Gasket intake gasket set and haven't heard of any problems with them.

I used FelPro 1262-S3 gaskets. They have large port sizes so they'll fit just about any head and a steel core to keep them from getting blown out or sucked in.
