No, as long as its above the AS1 line, it shouldnt matter, and even then its not a big deal...

Although you will get guys that do the.... Really, it's a MUSTANG... I had no idea, I'm glad you WROTE it HUGE on your car so I would know. Personally I don't like it. But to each their own.

I think he meant the tint line embedded into the windshield, but if memory serves me correct the law about windshield viewing obstruction is a state to state law.

It should be labeled on your windshield, its about 4 inches down from the top of the windshiled on both sides...It says AS1 with an arrow pointing down. I dont think its different by state...Basically you cant have anything on your windshield below that point, this law does vary by state though(as far as tint is concerned)...

I didn't mean the AS1 line is different by state... I meant having ANYTHING obstructing your view (tint, decals, Mexican tassles, etc.)

To me it would make sense if you can't have transparent tint 8 inches below your windshield then you wouldn't be able to have solid lettering below that...

well in my town you get a ticket. A city law or ordinance or whatever bout a year ago there are a few colors it cannot be around here i know of white and red but some of the cops here dont care just the PIGS (POLICE INITIATING the GAG SQUEEZE) aka cops that are out to get everyone will pull over everyone that has a windshield banner.
