Seats are one of those things that I will be willing to spend some money on because my life is potentially in the hands of the builder of those seats. Unless it's approved by a racing group (FIA) I am not putting my life in that seats hands.

I think the summit ones look great personally, and they're very cheap.

yes i just did a set for my moms Stang she has a 03 and @ 55 and two stangs a 2003 and a mach1 1970 moms just a motorhead

anyways i ordered a set for my car that will be here in a few days since hers came out so nice i had to get a set Leather Racing Seats $239 a piece! if theres enough interest in this i will take some pictures and do a write up when i put them in and explain how its done i used my factory sliders and everything works minus the lumbar since the new seats dont have it

the installation takes about 30-45 a seat

I went with these seats.

They're lightweight, FIA approved, and only $289 a piece. To install them, I just fabbed up some brackets, and had a friend weld them together on top of the stock seat sliders.

03redfire yeah i was interested in those seats. Take some pictures for us . I was really wondering what kind of head support these seats gave the driver, if whip-lash occured. And how is the support fromside to side on turning? Let us now

FIA

FIA = Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile

They rule most racing in Europe and some abroad and set standards.
