Ok so I am trying to complete my interior restoration and the last thing (for now ) is to complete the new center console. I am moving the HVAC controls from their stock location to the middle of the vertical stack, putting the radio at the top and a little storage bin at the bottom.

My question is for anyone who has done something like this before - how do you remount the HVAC control panel in the lower location since it is wider than the console allows at this location. I know American Muscle sells that panel but they have no real information on how to install it. I am making my own panel but am wondering if there is a easy way to remount that piece with out modifying it?

Please Help!! Thanks.

Yeah I looked and called them. They have no install instructions and no pics of the back side of the panel so I am not sure how the stock HVAC control mounts to it or to the lower part of the center console or if it mounts at all. I would think it has to somehow but before I do something that may not work the way I want I thought to ask the professionals here!!

Any other suggestions would be welcomed as I am diving into this tonight one way or another. I can't stand not having a radio in the car!!

Those look strangely like the ones on gaugeplates.com A plus to gaugeplates is that they have several different styles as well as the ability to design your own.
