just for the sake of comparison, here's a pic of our '01 Cobra interior (very similar to the '03). As was already mentioned, the real Cobra seats are two-tone suede/leather & the gauges are white face. The Snakes only come in two (currently) interior colors, and that solid tan ain't one of 'em.
On the other hand, the hood, noseclip and rear bumper/spoiler combo all appear to be legit, so who knows.
You could always check the VIN............... if the digit in the 8th position is anything other than a "V", it is indeed a poser.

Newbstang: is this car being offered/auctioned as an authentic 03 Cobra? Or does the listing even give a description? I hope no one gets screwed on this one.

The description says V8 stang ....they dont really designate by GT or CObra or anything like that ( and they dont give full VIN) Just mustang and whether it's a v8 or v6 no number of valves either heheh but yea i figured it wasnt real...You can only buy these cars if your a dealer or represented by one...so they should now but someone culd def get screwed lol ....thnx

1. The interior. (already stated).
2. The 8th digit is "X"=GT
3. Where the car is located. Look in the background. There are 3 wrecked cars, so you know it's a body shop.

How much did he want for it? GT's are going for around 22K brand new...

.....like everyone has mentioned...look at it from the front, you should be able to clearly see the heat exchanger=intercooled=supercharged

Cant really tell from the front pic...but I no see no heat exchanger

my vote BS...NOT Cobra.

I think someone before meant to say there is no supercharger heat exchanger in the front bumper. It would be seen through the bottom gap in the bumper. No doubt it is a Fobra.

I guess I'm not allowed to say that the black car is not a true member of the reptilian family, so I'll just say that it definitely isn't a Mach 1.
