A little something I c/p from Haney Motorsports.

Remove back seat. The lower seat cushion is held by a spring loaded retainer. It is released by locating retainer approximately 10 inches from the edge of the cushion on either side. Take a flat screwdriver and push the side of the retainer. The seat should pop up and be released.
The back seat cushion is held by two 10mm screws, located on each lower corner. Remove screws and slide seat upward releasing cushion from bracket at the top

The clips are actually on the front of retainers. Feel around under the center of each cushoin with a flathead screwdriver - when you find it, push on the front of it and each side will noticeably pop up.

Here's a link that might help - they can be sticky little buggers.... Scroll down and there's a photo.

Don't know what clear things you're talking about - my 2000 looks just like the photo in the link - push the button and the cushion pops up.

Yeah thats what you have to push in with the flat head screw driver. I'ts a pain but it's fairly easy. i'll try to post a pic with the clips that you talking about.

Here ya go..........

Try to slide a flathead (keep the blade horizontal) screwdriver between the seat bottom and the top of the heel panel about 3-4 inches deep. Move the screwdriver towards the center of the individual seating area and feel the plastic latch. Back the screwdriver out along the side of the plastic latch, and move acrosss the front of the latch about an inch. Then press the release tab.

Once you feel the front of the plastic latch and the release tab you can turn the screwdriver blade verticle to press the tab easier.
