Finally got my 4.10s (BTW ) from 5.0resto.

I remember some one here recommened gettin a tranny cooler with any gear swap. Well first thing i did was check summit.

Here is the link:

http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=transmission+cooler&x=0&y=0&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp

I looked around a bit but there is just so many i cant choose. some were bigger and cheap while others were mall and expensive. im trying to spend maybe 75 bucks TOPS, and even then i see some nice ones for around 50 bucks but im clueless on this subject. some one here must have one they could recommend.

thanks in advance

Either the B&M or Steeda kit is what almost everyone uses for tranny coolers. They are both around $50.

Try searching summit's website by inputing your car and choosing what applies to your vehicle...or search steeda's website.

I have a Hayden cooler. Works great. I might see high 160s or low 170s under hard driving with 4.10s. I have pics in my Cardomain thing.

When looking for a transmission cooler, don't be too concerned as to the brand name behind it. Pretty much an decently built cooler will do. It's not rocket science. As long as it doesn't leak, it will do the trick.

Nothing less.. why go smaller when it's possible to go bigger? 40k BTU. Period.

You can go as big and expensive as they make and some even have cooling fans on them, but if you're worried about taking up too much space you may want to consider a compact design. I went with the Ford Racing M-7095-SR and I don't "granny" my car around but my fluid looks brand new. I have the PS cooler and the tranny cooler and I always knew (thought) that I'd buy a KB and since I picked the intercooler kit I'm happy with my smaller transmission cooler.
