Hello All.

I haven't visited this site for awhile (amazing how much time it takes to raise 2 trolls under the age of 10).

Anyway I am the proud owner of 97-0043 and my 3rd baby is due for some routine maintenance. She's still 100% stock but the 510 ponies need a wakeup call.

I'm pretty good w/ a wrench and am looking to replace the usual stuff - plugs, wires, cap & rotor. I've already replaced the various fluids/filters and plan to have the brake system flushed and front end aligned. Anybody that has recommendations for a shop in the South SF Bay Area I'd appreciate it (last time I checked APEX was the rage).

Any other preventive maintenance initiatives you can suggest are appreciated.

Are there any local Saleen events coming up? My triple black speester is aching to get back out onto the asphalt. In the past I've met/emailed with Dave Godeloson & Brian Carillo if they are still around.

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom out there.

God Bless our troops.

Don't know when you last checked with Apex, but it is under new ownership. The new owner is a really cool and enthusiastic person (he owns a Fox body Saleen himself). If you want to do some basic maintenance items yourself and just need a helping hand, I am pretty handy with a wrench myself (ASE Certified Master Tech) and I have a couple of S351s also. I work at a repair shop in Palo Alto and am usually there on Sundays when we are closed doing various side jobs or working on my own car(s). If you want to do the brake system flush and the alignment, PM me back.
As far as any events coming up, there's the Saleen show on Sept. 10 and Apex is having a car show on Oct. 1.

Hey Kerry,

Glad to see you're still around. Hope you can make it to the Saleen show down in Irvine.
