6 car police chase through 9 towns.

He passed a state trooper doing 80mph in a 65, and he just decided to keep going. I dont want to hear all the preaching, it was a stupid move, hes 17 and people make bad decisions, Im sure hell learn from this one. He ended up with 18 tickets and is most likely going to loose his license until hes 21, the car is impounded. We bailed him out of jail this afternoon, at least it will make for a good story when hes older. Luckily nobody is dead including himself and the car is not wrecked.

WOW, he should lose his license for WAY longer than that....that's rediculous. Sounds like he's getting off wayyy too easy.

losing your license for 4 yrs is pretty serious along with a few thousand in fines? I dont think thats very easy.

He ran because he wasnt thinking. He passed the cop doing 80mph and just decided to keep going, I guess he thought he could get away, which he did, but the cops put out a search for his car and he was later pulled over when he tried to find a diff way home (PA to NY). The cops said they had the helicopter on standby b/c they were all just about out of gas.

If he was pulled over later on then he should just tell the judge that it wasnt even him driving the car when it was involved in the chase.

yeah I read the police report when they pulled him over they didnt even have his plate number they only suspected it was him. He admitted it was him right when they said that, which is just him being 17 yrs old, but I think he might have gotten off if he just said it wasnt him. Hind sight is 20/20 they say.

lol read my post again, they did not have his plate number they only suspected it was him.

edit - If they did not have his plate number and had lost sight of him during the chase before he was pulled over they cannot convict him based on the evidence that he drives a silver gti with black wheels.

Thats how ppl on bikes get away all the time, cops cant catch up to get a plate number. Than all you do is change highways or get off and grab a burger.

LOL here in FL they block the highway further ahead.. My boss was telling me got caught when they landed the copter on the road 5 miles ahead of him..
Aliate if your bro gets a lawyer they can probably argue him right out of it even though he admitted it.. He is a minor and i think his parents have to be there when they question someone younger like that.. I mean they didnt even see his plate..

Yep that is pretty silly. When I was 19 I did a burnout through an intersection not noticing the cop. I ran like hell. Didn't get caught but drove like Miss Daisy's driver for months. That was a very silly move. Will never and have never tried running since.
