I have power to both terminals so I figure might as well change the starter if I am going to pull the old one out to be tested. Then if it still doesn't work I'll rewire it completely....

So is a starter somethign that you would go reman on? I have heard horror stories about reman alternators... It looks like a reman starter may save me $30 or so...

Thanks.

If you can get a new starter that's decent for 30 bucks more, I'd get new. The reman'd starters arent much better than the alts IMHO.

Good luck.

Cardone Select Hi-Torque starter (shameless plug) on my 347. Should be under $100 at your local parts store. Did I say Lifetime warranty and free roadside assistance? Ok, I did now.

This one is for Roger's car (Green 94 5.0).

I picked up a Napa premium... less than an hour start to finish and works great now...

lifetime warranty gets my vote all you have to do is figure how much you want to spend for the lifetime warranty....reman lifetime warranty-new lifetime warranty whats the difference besides price and there easy to install...now if i had long tube headers i would be looking at a new high torque with a lifetime warranty because they are difficult to install in some cases....
