just trying to see if there is anyway to get a rollcage in my car and make it so i can take the tops off and not have it across top of where the window would be?

I beleive the maximum motorsports cages swing low across the doors. I beleive the 6-point or 8[point ones are what you are looking for.
I did some research a while back because i need the same thing answered for my '85GT with T-tops. Unless you go 10-point, the majority of cages out there don't have the hgih roof bars that you would see. Most have the main loop behind the driver, two bars into the hatch and then two low door bars you will never see with the doors shut
Any "cage" will make getting to the latches difficult. but then again when you get one you will most likely go custom.. in that case the shop should be able to somewhat accomodate you..
if you mean "bar" then this wont be a problem.. I assume you mean cage, since you are worried about getting to the latches.
