I replaced my clutch and flywheel last fall, however i did not use any rtv on the flywheel bolts. is this going to be a problem??? I need to take out my tranny again so it wouldent be a huge deal to do it but i really dont want to take the clutch out again if i dont have to....

not trying to hijack but desparate for help.....

i recently swapped my t5 out for another and a resurfaced flywheel. i now have a vibration. it was really bad but after turning the d/s , it is better but still there. i have done alot of reading and i am afraid its the flywheel. could it be?

i used blue loctite on the flywheel bolts....if it is causing the vibration, could it loosen those bolts and come off??? am i doing damage by driving it...should i be driving it?

I wouldn't think loctite would weigh enough to cause a vibration. I've never used any on the flywheel bolts and never had an issue.

fiveoho are you sure the flywheel is properly balanced? if your running a stock balancer (50 oz) make sure that the flywheel is also 50oz.
