I just took that pic to show you the studs since I have the S281 on and the S351 sitting in the garage. My S281 has 4 studs also, TRUST ME I 've installed it as well and no 2 sided tape is used on mine or it would look like a$$ when I switched them around.

Where did you order your S281 spoiler from? I got mine direct from Saleen and it definitely only had two holes in the bottom of it

I thought it would have four, but it didn't and I called the guy who painted it for me (he has done other Saleen parts) and asked him how to install it and he told me he has done every single one just like I did mine?

How long ago did you get yours? Maybe they just changed the way they make them...probably could save a buck in making them so Saleen decided against putting four holes in them now...I wouldn't put it past them to do that

Four holes definitely makes more sense, and I would also have rather not used the two sided tape, but now I've got two plugged holes in my rear decklid w/ the S281 spoiler covering 'em up

I bought mine in 2001 straight from Saleen in CA. and they could have changed since then. I don't know why they would just go with 2 bolt holes?

Saleen changed the way they mount at some point. The old style s281 had four holes to mount it. The new version of the wing has two bolt design and you have to use double sided tape to mount it, but they are the same styling. Hope that helps.

Well...Glad we beat that to death.....

Thanks....I emailed Mustangs Unlimited and asked if they carry the Saleen....Hopefully, yes and I can have it this week...Saleen can be a drag to deal with...Been there, done that...

I just put on a Saleen 351 Spoiler. I bought it off Ebay and it was a Saleen "knock off" but over all the fit is ok, Its not "perfect" but for what I paid for it I cant complain. It does sit really low to the deck lid there is no space between the deck lid and the bottom of the spoiler like you see on 94SC50 wing. Either way it looks pretty sweet though. I think the 351 Wing is one of the meanest looking ones out there, I'll post pics of it soon.
