Hello, new poster to the forums. I am currently with the 101st in Mosul Iraq, Infantry 11B with the 2/502 IN, been here in hell for 9 months now. I was on the ground laying fire when we nailed Uday and Qsay over the summer... Wish I could have been there to see the look on that SOB's face when some GI shoved his M4 in it hehe. Let me say today was a big one for everyone here, days like today deffiniatly make it all seem worth while.

Anyway, been a reader of you this great forum as much as I can while here. Looking forward to resto-mod a 66 fastback when I get back to the states in March. You will see a lot of dumb questions from me I'm sure...

I'll tell you what it has to do with classic stangs.

We wouldn't even be able to have/work on our cars if it wasn't for soldiers going over there doing their jobs, and being away from their families for months at a time.

You seem to be ungrateful for the privelages you have here, or at least that post makes it seem that way. My cousin is over there risking his life in the 4th infantry so people like me and you can be involved in such relatively insignificant activities such as classic mustang tech.

So I'm sorry if someone that is actually proud of our soldier's achievements such as this (That will have an impact on YOUR life) decides to share such great news on a tech board that it is an inconvenience to you.

I guess I forgot that classic tech is somehow more important than life changing news for the country we live in that allows us to piddle in such unimportant activities (as compared to safety and people's freedom).

BTW, If you don't like this thread, nobody's forcing you to read it. It just really pisses me off that you would bitch about such great news being in the wrong forum.

Yes, you hit a very sensitive subject with me, because I have family over there, and you seem to not appreciate it.

hey i didn't mean for it to sound like i said it, i just ment this is a mustang board.. like if it was in the talk part it i wouldn't have cared.

though it is GREAT that they caught him, you guys must realize that not all of us are from the US and are not all 100% for this war. Although I am from, and live in canada i do have family in the US army, so please don't tell me that i don't care because it doesn't effect me.
