I would gues they are the same, or certainly could be made to work. These seem to be more transmission than body based. What does the wiring harness it plugs into look like and what are the colors?
The NSS should be on the trans itself and probably has wires going to the chassis somewhere, unless it's been bypassed/disabled. I had to do that when I tossed the C4 in favor of a Toploader.
i will have to look tomarrow. i have to jiggle and pull on the shifter to get it to start sometimes. and i think my dad is fed up with it when he drives the car, i got to where it doesnt bother me.
