Am i the only one ahving probrem with these fu@#er just would not stay on the car? especially the lower back part?
I have trid many many yard of 3M tape, and none would stick permanently .
It'll stick fine, and as soon as it gets worm out, tape just looseits adhesivness...
any pointers guys?

Well for Godsake don't call them...they prolly would prolly be the least to help ya out. Call a local bodyshop...or a local Saleen Dealer in your town/city and then ask for hte bodyshop...as I am sure thye have had to reinstall or repair these type of wings before.

The S281 wing is held on with adhesive and not bolted on????

they are held on with 2 bolts. Obviously, not enough..
I used 2 more on top part using exsisting hole on trunk lid where OEM spoiler's bolt holes are.
But there is no bolt or screw for bottom(right above tail light section, where bottom of spoiler is. Hense the 3M tape. But all of the over hanging part of spoiler's weight will be resting on this part which is held down by tape, which is not holding the weight...

Me 2, the 3m tape was already on the wing when I purchased it. Fitment was not a problem.

I think the recommendation to ask some local body shops is a good one. My S281 held down fine without ever having to re-tweak or tape it ... at least up to the point when a crowbar was taken to it (... that's another story, though...).

If you are really concerned about how well it is held down in the lower back portion, there is always the S351 wing where you can never have that problem...

01GT eibach, you did go with S-351 huh? lookin' good!!!! that whiole thing with getting S-281 stolen was some shady stuff. But your car look better then it did befor.
when I bought my S-281, I thought long and hard as to which one I wanted to go with. Now with bottom of spoiler not staying on the car, and looking at your wing, i wish i went with S-351...
