I sat in the APC's at SEMA last weekend... They are not very comfortable or supportive. They are kinda thin laterally, and too wide b/w the seats to be very supportive. Also the finish on them is like a 6.5/10. People will realize they are kinda cheap. Also the cheeseball "APC" is embroidered on so it is hard to remove and keep the headrest looking good.
APC=$200 a pop.
The Recaro's of course, or even the Summit seats may be better.
I also am in need of a seat repair. My 85gt drivers seat is broke down. I know you can take it apart and weld it back but I am thinking of just a cheeper set of new seats. I looked at corbeau but all of the reclining seats are just too expensive espically when you add in the mustang seat tracks at $80 each.
I don't know about that, I think the GT seats are pretty darn comfortable. But my vote definitely goes for recaro as they are in my opinion the best. But not too long ago I got to sit in the Corbeau GTSII seats and those suckers mold to every part of your body, now you talk about a comfortable seat!
I'm running 96 GT leather buckets and they are nice. You can pick them up for $200 a set and they bolt right in. I dont think you can use 99+ seats without modding them but I know 94-98's are good to go.
