Your mods could help you or hurt you depending on who you sell it to.

Some would rather not buy a 07 with a bunch of bolt on's others may be planning on doing the mods you've done and may give you more than book.

You need to find the right buyer if you have time.

Exactly...you need the right buyer otherwise you won't get a dime extra for your add ons!

I would take off any mod you can, and sell it on the side.

That sucks Radman, sorry to hear about your loss, but they are totally right about the bolt ons. According to any valuation books, add ons either add nothing or actually decrease the value.

Where are you in Texas, i'm in Dallas, and if you are interested in selling some of the add ons, i could be interested to come get them and or help to remove/uninstall for them.

Best of luck with what you are going to get next, BTW, what are you going to get next?????

Thanks all. I am going to pimp it hard with the mods on. One thing I have is time so if it takes a few months to sell I'm ok.

Thanks again,

Rad

Honestly I think you are looking at under $30k even with all those mods. I could go buy a brand new one for under $30k. You have a few thousand dollars in mods, but if you were asking $32k, I would personally rather buy the new one and maybe spend one or two thousand more to make the identical car.

As said before though, its all about finding the right buyer.

It might take a *really* long time to sell; there's incentives on new ones, around $2500.

Have to agree. You are competing with new. Many people will not want the mods. I can tell you from experience that you rarely, if ever, get your money back. You may actually lose money. I would say take them off and price your car at least a couple thousand less than a new one would cost. A $2500 rebate on new ones also hurts. And many of us can buy on X plan or A plan which also lowers the cost.
Good luck.

Yeah, personally I would be afraid of a car that was modded heavily. It would tell me that the driver drove it hard. Whether you did or not people will make that assumption.
