Sept 12th. Alberta's Fastest Streetcar Shootout

Sunday Sept 12th At Race City Speedway in Calgary.
Tech starts at 8:00am, on track for qualifing at 9:00am. Eliminations at 1:00pm.
There will be no laps done on the roadcourse because they would have to be completed by approx 8:30am before the Jr. dragsters run.

There are three classes.

There is a big tire class and small tire class. Slicks allowed.
Depending on what it takes to keep the the number of cars closest to even in each class. The split will either be 10.5" or 11.5"

The third class is a V8-less class. Anything goes as long as it has less than 8 cylinders.

All cars must be registered and insured. Must run with mufflers and have working headlights, signals, brake lights etc.

All three classes will be heads up on a .400 pro tree.

There will be three or four (depending on time) qualifing rounds in the morning.
The "Alberta Fastest Street Car" title will be given to the car with the quickest ET during the qualifing rounds from all three classes.

*NOTE* In order for the run to count it must be backed up within 10% on at least one other run during qualifing.

A regular ladder shootout will be held for each class in the afternoon.

UPDATE:

There will be trophies for first place and runner up in each of the three class's.
This will be based on the best times that have been backed up by at least 10% in the qualifing rounds.
The ladder for the 8 fastest qualifers in the afternoon is for fun.
