Does anyone know where the sub amp for the shaker 500 is located, thought it was behind the radio but no such luck.

And who needs that anymore. I don't even listen to CDs anymore. My ipod and more than 3,000 songs on it (and room for more) is all I need.

The subs are in the doors. its a big 8" round sub in the door hard to miss. just look at ur headunit if it says shacker 500 or 1000 above the cd slot if it dont say anything u dont have it.

Get you an ipod. It will be the best money you have ever spent. You can carry it with you to listen to music (and watch videos). I also have an adapter that lets me run it through my home theater, all the songs and videos too if I wanted. Beats a CD changer by a mile. The Pioneer will easily control the ipod.
You won't regret it. Itunes is also a great source for music, one song at a time or an entire albumn. You can get the songs almost instantly and cheaper than at a discount store. (I do not work for Apple. I wish I had stock though.)

Right on. I wish I had the Pioneer unit too. Bestbuy told me it would not fit in a new Mustang. I later found out they could not install it for some reason.
You'll have a great system.
