If both were available to you and you could only afford one, which would you choose?

If you had to choose, which one would you take. Some factors to consider:

1. Parnelli Jones will be about $10,000 more.
2. Shelby puts out 500bhp vs. PJ's 370bhp (although PJ is NA)
3. Only 500 PJ's being produced, so more unique.

Note: I've removed the number 15 from the side of the PJ. I love the car, but am not a fan of the number on the side.

I'm not picking, but just wanted to clarify to other readers that the number 15 emblems are merely clings that can be removed at any time.

Thanks. I wasn't aware of that, but it's good to know. Makes the car that much more appealing!

Tough question but i went with Parnelli. More of a collectors item and you still have room to play with the engine.

Just My 2 cents

I'd go with the Shelby, although it may not be as unique, it's got 500 hp. Stock.

Though I like the Saleen PJ model a lot, I'll take a SVT GT500 over one in a second.

If I were a collector I'd take the Parnelli, but I'm not. Even though I am a huge Saleen fan I would pick the Shelby. Cars are to be driven and I'd be too afraid to damage the Parnelli/Saleen.

One of each, please. And I'd also like a Shelby GT-H.

I would take the PJ:
1. its a 5.0
2. less are made better resale
3. 370hp on a N/a motor

I would love to have the GT500 also.

While my brain says the PJ for all the reasons others have mentioned, my heart would go with the Shelby

It's interesting. When I posted this poll, I was expecting more people to lean towards Parnelli, but I guess I can understand why so many have picked the Shelby. I will say though, if the PJ had a blower on it I bet the voting would be a lot closer.

The Parnelli is a great looking car, but for me there can be only the Shelby!

Love the PJ car.. Unfortunately I never was able to get my arms around that color.

I am most of the way there with my car already!

Just looking at your Sig, do you drive the S7?

I wish I owned an S7. I have a '05 S281 SC with upgraded Saleen S7 Silver paint. It's a slightly different shade of silver than Satin Silver. I really can't tell the difference. It's a hair lighter, but not by much.

It's a hard tossup. I love the Shelby but if I was spending an huge amount on a collectible car the PJ would be it. Either car I'd have a hard time driving every day, especially around here so both would see 5-6 months of duty at best a year. The PJ probably even less but it's just a really cool looking car and for unique-ness it's hard to get more rare that that.
