Has anyone run the "new" Shell 93oct gas? I've run it a couple times and it seems like the car is a lot more sluggish after the fact. Anyone else have any problems?

I've used it but it felt like normal gasoline to me. I just used it because its the closest station to me and I have to use at least 91 octane.

If you do need hi-octane gas and you use it, you will lose some power. Not all the fuel will be burned. Stay with 87 unless you are pinging....then fix the pinging problem.

Running a S/C, nitrous, advanced timing or hi compression are the only reasons to use hi-octane.

From the commercials I can deduce that either V-power is good for tropical fish, or made from tropical fish. Can anyone confirm?

Snake oil. Just another marketing tactic. Get the lowest octane rating you can without pinging.

In the government rating of gasoline, Shell has the cleanest and safest gasoline for your engine. Costco has the worst.

detonation actually i guess that would be a

& higher octane fuel burns slower so it can make your car a bit slower, but it's better for milage. the only time i use high grade gas, is if i'm going on a long trip & i want good gas milage

I seem to get the same mileage no matter what gas I use, but the Mobile gas seems to make the voices in my head happy. If they're happy, I'm happy.

its a blend of 50% kerosene, 50% camel piss, and 50% All Tempacheer. I hear it really cleans your engine.

Only 92+ if you have a 4v. They don't like nothing less.

That gas is crap IMO I have put it in 2 times just because i couldn't get to a mobile. My car burned that gas faster and didn't move smooth.

I have not used the New Shell gasoline yet. I use Exxon/Mobil 87 gasoline with 4oz. of Amsoil fuel treatment every tank. Works great for me.
