Kyb=cheap
Mach one's are better. Go with H&R's springs and Bilstein shocks/struts

You could go with the Bullitt set up and throw in some Ford "F" lowering springs. That will get you close to 2".

BTW, you know if you drop that much you will have to replace your caster/camber plates as well?

Edit: I'd go with the Mach set up and the "F" lowering springs. The Mach kit comes with sway bars, shocks/struts for around $299 (Bullitt kit has springs too and is $399). Since you want to lower it so much, you won't need the Bullitt springs.

The Ford "F" lowering springs are about $210.

You could probably leave your stock shocks/struts on for awhile and get the Ford "F" lowering springs and c/c plates for right at $300. That will get you the drop, but you stock shocks/struts will wear out quickly.

GR-2s are OK if you are using stock springs. They'll blow out just as quickly as your stockers if you put lowering springs on them.

I've had H&R Supersports and Mach I shocks and struts for 1.5yrs and that is a great budget combo. $179 for the shock/strut set and $220 for the springs. Add $175 or so for C/C plates and you're all set.

BTW, the Supersports are advertised as something like 1.8"F/1.6"R and its more like a 2" all around once it settles a week or so after install.

Bilsteins are nice but you aren't going to get them for under $300... you'd be lucky to get them for under $500, I paid closer to $600 for all four.

They have a lifetime warranty and the shocks/struts are rebuildable. It's worth it. I got them off ebay for 460 shipped new.

Definitely worth it, that's why I have them. Just saying they aren't cheap.

The Bilstein struts and shocks with the
H&R springs would be a great combo!
