Ryan, what exactly did you fix? Thats just a bunch of problems covered in lacquer primer.
no all the rust was fixed exepct the rear 1/4....havent welded in a new panel yet...ill do that in spring....has new door, decklid, all the other surface on the car were taken down to bare metal and primed...i think that can be called fixing rust..oh and i welded a hole that was in my trunk.
You should use panel bonding adhesive instead of welding, no warping.
I have the EXACT same rust problems and dilemma...Not major rust, but I'm looking at about 4-5 grand for a rust repair and car repaint. I dont mind spending the money, but Its a 200,000 km car with a rebuilt engine, tranny and rear end. Tough choices.
