I added them to my 06 GT and loved them...and received tons of positive complements about them. They were painted to match the car. Traded in the 06 for an 11 GT/CS and am now debating whether to do the same...like the look of the quarter window louvers...just not sure yet whether it would detract from the GT/CS appearance too much. Had I bought a straight GT, they would already be on...
I like the look with and without them. I have had a 2005 with, a 2007 without and now a 2010 with.
They do block your view. Consider how much of a problem that would be. There are times when I have had real problems backing out of parking spaces because of them.
I have seen photos of those on websites taken from the inside looking out.
They do block visibility some but not as much as other "covers."
The SHR isn't a cover. It replaces the glass.
I had a 1966 fastback, actually two, one in the 1970s and one in the 1990s. The rear side window louvers in those provided no visibility at all. But I would love to have either once again.
