mech water pump and even though we used an elec fuel pump the mech pump was left installed, so it was still a drag on the engine. No PS pump.

It's Holley's new HP series.. I asked them to just send me thier normal high volume pump, but they wanted to show this on off. Sorta screws with my budget number, but it is one georgeous pump. It's internally regulated at 7.5 psi. We have officially labeled this pump as "Guicci".. lol

They have a higher volume "race" version that's black annodized.

Looks nice. $259.00 from Summit, but does not need a regulator. A possibility...

Yea, I guess that helps offset the cost. I can't remember the last time I didn't run a reg.

Anyways, it's a freakin beautiful pump.

I'm betting it'll run as good or better than it looks. Where did you get the thermo housing, O-ring type or gasket? What's your plan to hookup this power for tranny, traction and prevent body twist?

My stab:

565 HP
545 TQ

The contest is now closed...

The correct numbers.. rounded off was 552/530

If you add those numbers together it's 1,082

I will add up everyone's scores on all the various websites and pic the winner(s). Thanks for playing along!

Where's my calculator??? lol

The dyno graph:

What kind of fuel pump is that?

Hmm... you were backwards on your guess with the torque being more than the HP but your score, not counting that, would have been 12.

I actually discounted guesses that were flipped, maybe I shouldn't have. There was a guy on another site that had a score of 3, but his numbers were flipped like yours.

hmm.. I will have to ponder.. I would send everyone prizes but I only have so much junk laying around here. lol

I think guessing which is higher (HP or TQ) counted more in my mind.. I am open to opinions on this.

525 HP @6200 +/- 50 RPM
515 Tq @5800 +/- 50 RPM

Well I guess the least I could have done was read the whole thread so I could have guessed the right answer!

Yea...I thought I was too far off (and backwards with HP and TQ) until you combined the numbers (thinking all things were equal). I'm fine with what you decide; I was just having fun with the whole thing. I would keep it the way you originally had it.

I guess I will have to buy that fuel pump now...
