I have recently put my bbk h-pipe with cats back on my car due to emissions inspections. I have gotten around them for the past couple years but am now tired of driving around paranoid. I have 2 chamber flows with the cats now and bbk shorty headers but it's just not as loud as the off road h-pipe was I want more sound and considering my options for new mufflers I wanted some opinions on single chamber flows or any other alternatives some sound clips would be great thanks.

Try these on for size: DynoMax Race Bullets with Dumps.
DynoMax Race Bullets on Stock 5.0

Remember I have stock headers and h-pipe so believe me when I say it will sound 10x times better and tonned with aftermarket parts!

One chambers are far too loud for my taste. Those bullets dont sound too bad, maybe a little too quiet, but i dont' think they will be louder than 2 chambers (which series did you get?).

Hey, Check my sig. I have them pared with a Mac Prochamber and let me tell you they sound awesome. They were already loud with my stock H pipe. But man, It woke them up big time. Its kinda cool going down neighborhoods because its so loud. I would recommend getting them. 2-3 times louder at WOT than 2 chambers.

Do they still have that "flowmaster" sound or is it sound more like you are running glasspacks. Do they come in the inlet outlet I need or will I have to get my exhaust custom bent to install them?

I'm not sure what series they are, they were on the car when I got it. I took off my pro chamber to put on the cats so it is a lot quieter now.

Ive had both the race bullets and 2 different sets of one chambers. I have a offroad hpipe ,stock headers, w/ dumps. First off the bullets sounded awesome when i first put them on, they screamed mean but after they broke in they werent that loud-only at higher rpms. Then i went with one chambers but the longer offset ones- they were loud but i soon wanted louder like always. Then i went with the shorter ones with center in and out. They are loud at idle and loud all the way through the rpm range. I have them on right now and couldnt be happier. They are more unique and dont sound like all the other stangs with 2 chambers. I will be going back to the bullets when i get my SC on though. They do make 1 chambers that will fit right in with no bending or anything. They had them at jegs last time i checked. The shorter ones are the loudest though but you would have to make custom pipes and stuff if u dont have turndowns. Hey your in PA also and ive been pulled over so many times here but never had a cop say anything about my exhaust. I'll have to rig something up to get by these new emssion laws though. Weld in some fake cats or get hollowed out ones.

When my car was near stock i had mac pro-chamber and one chamber flows it was so load that I couldn't let my car warm up in the morning cause it would vibrate the house and they didnt have the same sound as my old 2 chambers. It sounded like my buddys ford truck with blown out glass packs.but if you want loud one chamber flows are for you. Sorry it took me so long to reply to your message stung9041 I had forgot about checking on this topic. But yeah man they sound awesome with my 4.6L. What type of motor do you have? It might sound different on a 5.0 stang. 88stangmangt I wish I had sound clips to post, but I dont have a digital recorder. But man this combo sounds awesome, It sounds like a screaming demon at WOT. My friends can hear me definately blocks away. It sounds alot different than mustang with 2 chambers and a H pipe.

Oh and.. I forgot to tell you that they are center center. I took it to meinike so they could weld them to my stock exhaust. They had to cut some piping to put them on, but it was a great fit.

With the Flowmaster Single Chamber do they have a series number or how or they labeled I looked on summit and flowmaster's website but do not really know what I am looking for. Any information on where to get them and exactly what they are called would be great thanks

www.angelfire.com/nj4/jl0ie/singlechambersburnout.wav

Here is a clip of my friend doing a burnout in my car... I have mac equal lengths, offroad H pipe, 1 chamber flows (FLO-325108)... my friend is on and off the gas, soo no i dont have a miss or something...

Honestly... they arent too loud.. FOR ME... my friends who have mustangs that drive my car think its DAMN loud.. guess im used to it.... They dont really sound like the clip... they give off a sound that totally distorts in the microfone/.... They dont sound like 2 chambers at all nor give off that flowmaster sound

i couldn't be happier with mine (1Chambers), but if you like talking on cell phones or listening to music, you might want to think twice before dumping them - ive never heard the bullets so i can't comment on the differences, but my setup is without a doubt the loudest ive heard at WOT and idle, they will shake windows and attract attention from a long ways away

The 1 chamber flowmasters are louder than the Bullets at idle but @ wide open throttle the bullet are like you have open exhaust on the car.
