I just recently replaced my midpipe. Went with an offroad pipe, and now my throttle response is real sluggish. Any ideas?

Mine did it to when my car had only a offroad pipe what will help will be a intake pulleyes programmer you then will gain the low end torque you lost from the lack of back pressure. Or put some cats in but thats for tree huggers

Make sure there is no exhaust leak.

Its just the loss of back pressure from the bigger piping. You'll get double the power back up top

The only problem is the car is an automatic, so it does the shifting for me. I can never get it into the high rpm range unless I'm stomping the pedal.

Also....probably a stupid question...wheres the obvious place to look for an exhaust leak?

Where the mid pipe attaches to the headers and cat back.
