Roush SN-95 Saleen strut tower brace?

Has anyone ever seen this before? It looks like it belongs on a Fox body to me...is it a simple mislabeling?

I have seen similar strut bar made by some cheap over sea company and just put saleen on them. I do not seriously think that is authentic saleen piece. I have been to saleen and i never or heard of something like that....

I bought one a few months ago from a guy who said he bought it in the mid 90's from Saleen.
I had never seen one so I thought I'd buy it.....this is the 2nd one I have seen. Strange that it happened so fast after never seeing one before.

I've looked under the hood of many Saleens and haven't seen a bar that looks like that yet.

Either way, it's a 2-point design...i'd rather have a 3-point bar like Maximum Motorsports bar

I have never seen one before, either. However, Saleen put their name on a lot of products back in the day, and sold them through the Speedlab. Frankenstein looking oil pans, painted valve covers, Vortech discharge tubes, Kirban fpr and the list goes on and on and on... If somebody bought this strut tower brace and then had Saleen laser etched into it, then it is a super nice job! I would not doubt that this is an actual Saleen piece, myself.

The one I just bought off a guy is Exactly the same, laser etching and all. He said he bought it direct from Saleen. They were not installed on a car..... sold just like you said through the parts catalog.

This is why I bought one since I had never seen one before.

I have not put it on yet but the holes mach up perfect on my 95's. It won't fit with the Vortech tube though.

Yes,

Those are authentic pieces. It has S A L E E N laser etched across the top. They were offered for a very short time in the cataloge. It was right after they left Long Beach. I have one.

So what year would you say they started offering it? and for how long?

I have a 94 catalog but I haven't checked it....I did look in the 95 update and I didn't see it in there.

I can't say that I'm surprised... I appreciate the responses guys! I missed out on buying the brace...wish I bid on the auction knowing what I know now.
