i only got one ticket afeter getting it back...apparently that was all it took. so after thinking a LOT im still thinking about sticking it out down here for six months or joining the navy and continuing my career in there. i know it sounds dumb to join the navy just because ill have no licence for 6 months, but if i cant keep my job here, im kinda SOL, and i definately dont want to be some deadbeat, jobless, lincencless and living at home lol...

so im gonna go to the rec-center tonight for a hot-tub soak, and do some long hard thinking.

part of me says the navy would be a great experience, and would be a good tool for shaping myself, on the other hand, i kinda like where things are at around here ya know...ugh man, i hate the situation im in. any insight would be great guys

How'd you lose it again, carbed? What was the ticket for? If ya want, I'll hold your GT for ya. I'll take real good care of it.

no, it was for a ticket i had in july, finally got ALL the way through the system and i had my hearing today and the lady was a total beotch. sure, i brought this on myself, but as i explained to her, theres not a whole lot of 19 yr old kids who already have a career going for them, not to mention going to school as well. it didn't matter though, she took it.

Sounds to me like you really wanna go into the Navy and you're searching for reasons to justify it and make it make sense to yourself. I say go for it.

my insight, come to the citadel, pick up an army contract. they pay for your school, you put in 6 years with a hell of a signing bonus, and you are an officer...and quit F*^king speeding

I did 12 years in the navy....the key is researching the job fields and getting what you want! Some jobs offer great experience, better assignments, training and security clearances you can market after you get out. after my 1st year, which was mostly training I ended up on 3 years of sea duty. then I did 3 years on shore duty i hawaii an 3 years shore duty in florida. choose wisely!

When I was in the Navy, we had a saying: F.T.N. Can you guess what it stands for? And we supposedly had the best job as nukes. Just man up get your **** together, don't let the military do it for you.
